Now Accepting Submissions: Landscape Artist Sought for Commissioned Project

The Stanislaus Arts Council is excited to announce a new commissioned artwork opportunity for a landscape artist. We are currently accepting RFQs (Requests for Qualifications) to identify an artist who will bring this project to life.

This is a paid commission, and SAC is proud to administer the agreement on behalf of our partner.

We are looking for an artist with a strong portfolio of landscape work, experience, and a vision for creating artwork that speaks to place, and natural beauty. Artists working in oil, acrylic, or watercolor mediums are encouraged to submit for consideration.

How to Apply

Please email the following materials to Dominique Johnson at djohnson@stanislausarts.org no later than May 25, 2025:

3 to 6 samples of previous artwork
A current artist résumé, CV, or short summary of qualifications

Selected applicants will be provided with full project details, including timeline, location, and budget. This is a wonderful opportunity for a creative and community-minded artist to contribute to a lasting public work.
