Stanislaus Arts Council Launches the VIVA Initiative
The Stanislaus Arts Council is pleased to announce the launch of the VIVA Initiative: Visibility & Investment for Vibrant Arts, a new program designed to strengthen the visibility, reach, and sustainability of Latino and Hispanic arts and cultural organizations, artist collectives, and community-based creative initiatives throughout Stanislaus County.
Applications will be accepted from September 4 through September 27, 2026.
Supported by a grant from the Stanislaus Community Foundation’s Adelante Fund, VIVA responds to a critical need within our region’s creative community. Many culturally significant organizations and initiatives produce meaningful programs with limited access to professional marketing, bilingual communications, media outreach, and broader promotional networks. VIVA will help selected participants strengthen their public presence, reach new audiences, and more effectively share the value of their work.
Program Support
Selected participants will receive customized marketing and communications support based on the needs, goals, and readiness of their organization, event, or project. Services may include:
Bilingual English and Spanish promotional materials
Graphic design and marketing collateral
Social media strategy and event promotion
Website and community-calendar visibility
Email newsletter and media outreach
Print-material distribution
Organizational storytelling and audience-development support
Guidance on strengthening long-term communications capacity
VIVA is not a direct grantmaking program. Instead, it provides selected participants with professional services, strategic guidance, and expanded promotional support.
Who Should Apply?
The Stanislaus Arts Council welcomes applications from Latino and Hispanic arts and cultural organizations, community-based groups, artist collectives, cultural initiatives, and creative programs that are based in or primarily serve Stanislaus County.
