Location: Mistlin Gallery, 1015 J Street, Modesto
Dates: April 2 to May 3, 2024

Join us for an extraordinary showcase of creativity and craftsmanship at the Celebration of Fiber Arts, proudly presented by Sue Siefkin and Country Crossroads Quilters. This vibrant exhibition, hosted at the renowned Mistlin Gallery in Modesto, invites art enthusiasts, quilt makers, doll aficionados, and fashionistas alike to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of fiber artistry.

Running from April 2 to May 3, 2024, Tuesdays through Saturdays, this event promises a diverse array of exhibits. Explore captivating displays featuring wall-hung art quilts, traditional quilts, handmade character dolls, and wearable art pieces. Throughout the exhibition, miniature quilts matted for framing will be available for purchase, offering a unique opportunity to take home a piece of textile artistry. Additionally, don't miss your chance to participate in our raffle for a one-of-a-kind quilt creation.

As a highlight of the Celebration of Fiber Arts, witness the unveiling of the "Best Sellers" challenge. Talented makers have embraced the creative challenge of crafting quilts inspired by the titles of their favorite books. These imaginative creations will be showcased as a collective ensemble, offering a fascinating glimpse into the intersection of literature and textile art.

Mistlin Gallery has proudly hosted previous iterations of the Celebration of Fiber Arts, continuing a tradition of honoring the boundless creativity of fiber as a medium. Organized by the dedicated members of Art Focus, a subgroup of Country Crossroads Quilters, this event embodies a longstanding commitment to fostering artistic expression within the community.

Whether you're a seasoned admirer of fiber arts or a newcomer eager to explore this dynamic genre, the Celebration of Fiber Arts promises an enriching experience for all. Admission to the exhibit is free, offering accessibility to art enthusiasts of all backgrounds.
