Modesto, CA - February 29, 2024 - Stanislaus Arts is thrilled to announce its upcoming art exhibition, "Graffiti Days," which will be on display from May 7, 2024, through June 7, 2024. This vibrant showcase celebrates the essence of Modesto, highlighting its rich cultural heritage, artistic vibrancy, agricultural roots, and iconic car culture.

Modesto is more than just a city; it's a vibrant tapestry of community spirit and creativity. With 'Graffiti Days,' we aim to capture the diverse and colorful essence of our hometown through the eyes of talented local and regional artists.

The exhibition promises a kaleidoscope of colorful images, showcasing the unique facets of Modesto's identity. From its friendly hometown ambiance to its thriving performing and visual arts scene, from its agricultural landscapes to its status as a gateway to the Mother Lode and Sierra destinations, "Graffiti Days" offers a multifaceted portrayal of Modesto's character.

Art enthusiasts and community members are invited to visit the Stanislaus Arts Gallery located at 1015 J Street in downtown Modesto. The gallery provides a unique opportunity to explore and shop for original works of art by local and regional artists in a relaxed and uncrowded atmosphere. With ten exhibitions throughout the year, there's always something new to discover, making each visit a fresh and exciting experience.

We take pride in offering a diverse range of artworks at very affordable prices, ensuring that everyone can find something that resonates with them. In addition to the exhibition, visitors can explore our gift shop, featuring small original artworks and one-of-a-kind treasures.

The Mistlin Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Additionally, the gallery extends its hours until 8:00 pm during the 3rd Thursday Art Walks, providing more opportunities for the community to engage with the arts.
