Please join us for the 3rd Thursday Downtown Modesto Art Walk each month from February to October from
5pm-8pm.
Embark on a personalized journey through the vibrant world of art with the Modesto Art Walk. Dive into a myriad of venues at your own pace, exploring galleries, businesses, and organizations united in their mission to showcase the finest in artistic expression.
The Art Walk invites you to immerse yourself in a FREE and relaxed atmosphere, brimming with diverse artwork awaiting your discovery. While meandering through the streets, delight in the melodies of local musicians, savor delectable fare from downtown eateries, and peruse artwork available for purchase at local galleries and shops.

Art Walk Artist Sign Up
To participate in the Art Walk you must sign up before 5 PM on the second Tuesday of the month. Late registrations will not be placed and will be invited to participate in the following month’s Art Walk.
All participating artists must check in at 1315 J Street between 3:30 and 4:30PM before going to their designated location. At check in artist will be provided with an event branded Artist Name Tag, identifying them as an official Art Walk Artist, some Art Walk Maps to help any patrons that may ask for directions, and raffle tickets to have community members that purchase an item fill out to be entered in a drawing for a prize from a local sponsor. All raffle tickets will need to be returned to 1315 J Street by 8 :30 PM.
Artist Easels and Support:
All Art Walk participants will be offered the use of one wooden ease during the event at no cost. Easels are to be picked up at Artist check at 1315 J Street between 3:30 and 4:30PM the day of Art Walk.
Additional easels may be rented from the SAC for $5 per easel (max of 3 easels per artist). All requests for additional easels must be made by the second Monday of the month. Easels must be returned by 8:30PM the night of Art Walk.
Artists must sign up by the 2nd Monday of the month by 5 PM to Art Walk, to be placed.
Stanislaus Arts Council- Artist Members can participate at no additional cost
Nonmember program participation cost $10 per Art Walk
All artists wishing to participate in the Art Walk must during the sign up period beginning on the third Friday of the Month and before 5 pm on the second Monday of the next month. Please note that Art Walk Program Participation costs are nonrefundable.
